Customs regulations for pleasure craft arriving in the Faroe Islands
If you’re arriving in the Faroe Islands on a pleasure craft, you must call Faroese Customs (TAKS) at least 24 hours before crossing the 12-nautical-mile boundary—or within one hour of leaving your last foreign port. Email all required documents before arrival.
If you have not completed these formalities before going ashore, you must do so at once.
